The Final Jeopardy Round question on the 2005 Ultimate Tournament of Champions Round 1, game 44 was in regard to the number of steps taken by the sentinals at the Arlington's Tomb of the Unknowns. All three contestants missed the answer.

This event may have been the catalyst for the resurrection of a popular series of emails circulating since 2004. They are typically written in a Question and Answer format and cover various aspects of the sentinels at the Tomb of the Unknowns.
Q: Sentinels at the tomb walk exactly this many steps at a time before turning.
A: Sentinels at the Tomb of the Unknowns walk exactly 21 steps between stations. The number alludes to the twenty-one gun salute, which is the highest honor given any military or foreign dignitary.
